Few things in TV are more polarizing than series finales. A friend of mine, a devoted How I Met Your Mother fan, really liked the finale. Someone told me about the finale and now I want to watch the whole series from the beginning — I’ve only seen a few episodes here and there. And if I ever open a bar, I’m definitely calling it Puzzles!
Honestly, the whole final season of HIMYM wasn’t up to par. And there’s parts of the finale that I liked but I would have liked it a lot more if they had not taken so many detours to get there. That’s what killed me, they went with a modified version of an ending people wanted from the beginning of the series, yet they had those characters evolve and change so significantly by the end, they sorta ruined it by doing that.
